January Challenge Day 15

When I looked at the weather forecast yesterday, I said to myself, well no riding my bike for the next ten days. The temperature wasn’t expected to rise above freezing and snow was predicted. So the snow and -6C/21F this morning didn’t surprise me. But it didn’t feel that bad when I was out on foot in the morning. When at noon the sun came out a bit and the temperature went up -2/C28F and the roads and main bike paths were free of snow, I decided to give it a try. For our short ride of about 45 minutes it was fine. I have those super gloves, you know.

Great camera work to get the sun peeking from behind and the tree with a halo of cloud.
I am really pleased that you noticed the halo. It was more luck than anything else, though, that I captured it. I didn’t see it until I got home and looked at my pictures on the computer screen.
Great camera work to get the sun peeking from behind the tree with a halo of cloud. If only I had been the one to say it first. Since I wasn’t, I’ll add this original thought: Nice pics of that white stuff!
Same comment to you as to Bill! I am really pleased that you noticed the halo. It was more luck than anything else, though, that I captured it. I didn’t see it until I got home and looked at my pictures on the computer screen.
Nice kickstand!
Always good to see a bicycle that doesnt look like it just crashed. 🙂
Considering all the bicycle pictures I take, a kickstand is a must for me. Impossible to find something to lean my bike against in most cases., or else too diffficult to get my bike to the tree or wall or whatever.
Great photos again Suzanne. Remember one in the winter is worth two in the summer.
Thanks! Maybe one in the winter is even worth three in the summer!
There’s always; winter miles summer smiles.
I agree with this one for sure! Nice winter riding.
