Two sunny days in a row! I almost let this one get by me as I took my bike into the shop for some minor work and it was cold and damp, not at all inviting for a ride. Once back home, the sun came shining through and I hopped onto Susan’s bike for an afternoon ride ;’-).

I rode my Shawna route which took me by Lake Serene and on the way took a back neighborhood connector trail that I don’t often ride.

The lake and the sky were blue ;’-).

I found the funky fence a bit of interest.

There have not been horses around here since I have known, so this has to be a very old sign —- the horse sign, not the no parking sign.

Moving along I stopped for this hanging door that I have taken photos of in the past, but they add a little something once in awhile — like the bird houses…

…and right around the corner next to the door behind that bush is this vintage bike.

You will note the beautiful blue sky with some sun lighting it up. As I was nearing home the clouds were taking over in the ready for tomorrow’s projected heavy, constant rain. So glad I did not let this day slip by without a ride ;’-).

Lake Serene looks just that — beautiful!
    Any sign of L&D? 🙂
Good you got out for a ride, the weather deteriorated here today.

      Deteriorating weather here now too.

L&D? I think I am missing something as I do not know what you mean.

I’m okay with the frozen lakes around here, but don’t think I’m not longing for the time when our lakes return to the beautiful blue color seen in your photo.
