July Challenge — Lucky #13

You will see why lucky in just a little while 🙂

Chevrolet pick up at the concrete works . . . .

        . . . . modified with a 1950 Buick grill

Evil looking face on the right, little bear cub face to the left

Morning Glory leaf face

Morning Glories are climbing the outside row(s) of corn — they will be pretty when they bloom

Not so pretty when the vines wrap up in the harvester head

And the moment we have been waiting for!

Did the South Gate Loop the long way south of town, around the subdivision and back

Approaching Elm street, something caught my eye . . .

Quick U-turn — and look there!

Doggie suggests I take that to Casey’s and get him some treats

Rolling on . . . . .

Another one!

🙂  Looks like a small Donation to the Animal Rescue Team

Very much enjoy all the entries you all have provided -- great to see the everyday cycling venues. Being in eastern Illinois, scenery certainly isn't our forte, but oh well, the roads are normally quiet. Look forward to more and more entries from all of you, I do have a few over on BL -- in Bill's Day Rides, and one journal.

WOW no WOW!! LUCKY is right. My money finds usually involve cents of some sort and I feel lucky when I find a 25 cent piece ;’-).

Good finds of faces too ;’-). That sun through the trees is quite the sighting.

Watch out, Rich! I hear Greg’s nemesis, G-2, has been spotted passing counterfeit fivers in central Illinois.

Hmmmm >looks for counterfeit money detecting pen<
Greg DOES has all that funny money in his saddle bag doesn't he? And G-2 is aware of it.
You may be on to something here!
Thanks! (I do not want to meet Sheriff Pat) 😉

Good finds for faces – even better finds for cash! On one very windy day in spring once, I saw a $20 note blowing down the sidewalk toward me. It would have been hilarious to watch as I tried to line it up and catch it a bit like a soccer goalie. I did grab it on the way past 🙂 I did not donate it though – I was 19 and that score funded a CD or two which was all important at th time.
