May Bridge Challenge – Bridge 4
We looked to avoid all the Mothers Day traffic that would be heading to eateries, scenic destinations, etc by doing a 56 kilometre loop on country roads southeast of Wangaratta. We crossed two bridges – one with water, the other with none. We also traveled over many culverts, some with water underneath and some bigger than the bridge over no water. For awhile I pondered when a culvert becomes a bridge and the structural differences between the two. When I say I pondered for awhile, I mean, I thought about it for less than a minute and then moved on. Engineering stuff doesn’t really entertain me much. But here is the bridge for the day over Hurdle Creek.
