More riding in the rain

I’ve been making an effort to get out for brief rides in the rain, of which we’ve had no shortage for the past three weeks.
I have reservations for an expedition this summer, pedaling that will probably feature plenty of wind, rain, and chill. So I gotta test various combinations of gear in similar conditions while I have the opportunity.

Betcha I know where you are going! X) Ain’t sayin”
Should be an extraordinary venture!
Maybe some fenders would come in useful?
No, Rich, it’s not Blue Mound Township. π
Awww Shucks! π
Stalwart cycling there Bill! Fortunately it is not the coldest of climes where you live, but still β all that water! You have our curiosity up about your upcoming adventure ;β-).
Be safe in all the rain.
It wouldn’t be right to ask you to reveal exactly where your summer expedition is going to be, but perhaps you could provide a hint–something more revealing than a place with “wind, rain & chill.” (Alaska? The Andes Mountains? Minnesota?) And how the heck is Rich so sure he knows where you’re going? And why ain’t he sayin’?
Cause if there is one chance is a thousand of getting something wrong — I’m your guy.
I was ‘certain’ it had to be Blue Mound Township with its changeable weather, OR, possibly Kickapoo Park.
Oh well . . . . .
Okay, I’ll see about dropping some clues in the coming days. Expedition isn’t until late June, and many a slip between cup and lip.
Clue #1: It’s none of the three places you listed, although they all sound pretty good and maybe I should reconsider.
Ill betcha betcha betcha I know!
Ill even lay my losing Mega Millions ticket on the line. π
But I ainβt talking!
Keep βem suspenders! π
Love the bird’s eye view of your bike in the puddle!
I think you told us already where you are headed in June, and said you are accompanying your Ace Support Crew while she hikes. But I have a bad memory and am not sure I remember the destination correctly. So I’m keeping mum, too.
