Never Photographed before…

… at least not that I can remember. Who thought up this silly challenge anyway. I’m encountering obstacles finding new things to take pictures of.

First of all I think I have photographed about everything there is to photograph along our standard routes. Or maybe not but I keep seeing the same photo subjects and am not getting any new ideas – feeling very uncreative. In addition I am not eager to photograph uninteresting things, plenty of that on the roadside I guess. Ugly is ok, but ugly and uninteresting?

For sure I will eventually copy-cat Greg, Rich and Bill and show the contents of my bike bag. I like that idea. And I wonder how I could show SLOWNESS in a picture.

What have I come up with so far? A sign with roadside littler hanging from it with the word warum? why?

Why?

I never stopped to get a picture of the free range chickens out in Buchendorf. Finally a good reason to take their picture.

Those goats are always hanging out there on the chicken coop. The chickens’ besties?

We often ride through Wangen and pass the sign for fresh milk but I never before followed the sign to see where it is sold. Found something new – phew.

Muich is dialect for Milch. Häusl is diminutive for Haus. You get the idea.
The coin opererated milch dispenser inside the Muichhäusl. A notice on the machine says it is recommended to boil the milk before consumption. Why then the glasses to have a fresh drink of milk?

A solution to the problem would be to ride new routes. Never thought of that. That would involve taking the car to a different starting point or perhaps the local train now that I have my second shot (yesterday, yay!) and am willing to use public transport again.

    You have, and I never doubted it, found some very interesting things to post for this challenge. I agree that it is difficult to find something you have not taken a photo of when riding the same or similar routes. I surely share that problem. You will see by my next post just how I have not yet found much — not nearly as much as you have.

    Congrats on getting the second dose now. It is quite freeing I must say.

    Oh my gaaaawd! I don’t think ANYBODY has ever photographed anything that looks like those pictures before. At least I’ve never seen it. Good job.

    All very unique pictures. As to the sign advising boiling milk, perhaps a legal requirement? I know here in the US we have all sorts of laws about raw, which vary greatly state to state.
    Congratulations on getting the second shot! I just got mine yesterday as well. It does make the future seem a little brighter.
