NEVER THE ONE, PARTIALLY THE OTHER
Having the three Grands up from California for a week with us, I had to sneak in my ride early this morning (not too early) and meandered around the neighborhood. You know how that is — can almost never find something you have not photographed before. But I found this one that I like even though my photo is a bit out of focus.
I pass by many times and like the heron (egret?) and frog but this is my first photo of them.
Continuing on around my usual loops, I visited The Stump again. And Yep, there is a new display.
It’s all about Home Sweet Home, so here is a closer look to see the theme a bit more clearly.
Our plan was to take the Grands on a bike ride on the trail that takes us to the hotdog stand (that we did with the two Grand boys). Some research told us they are closed today so we will see if there is another opportunity tomorrow.

I love my home sweet home, but the whole world is my happy place. But I must say that is one of the most nicely decorated stumps I’ve ever seen.
I like that Greg — the whole world being you happy place. A very positive and optimistic way of thinking.
You have some very creative neighbors!
And I am so pleased that they do the displays. In addition to appreciating seeing them, it gives me a destination at least once a month ;’-)
Just time before returning to the hospital to check out what you’ve been up to. You continue to find interesting things to shoot right in your own town.
I am currently in a little bit of a riding “slump”! but will be out there again I’m sure.
