PATTERNS, IMPERFECTS AND A WINDSOCK

We will leave Sandpoint ID today and this post is from a ride we did yesterday around town and to cruise the campground where we have stayed in the past. Plus I wanted to ride on the bike and ped bridge again ;’-).

PATTERNS

IMPERFECTS

WINDSOCK — it was extremely windy at the city park which is on kind of a peninsula. Lots of kite sailors (or whatever they are called). Looked crazy enough to me to think it would be something Greg would do ;’-).

AND THE BRIDGE — when they built the ”new” highway years ago, they kept this old bridge and made it for bikes and peds only. It is about a mile and a half long. They have done some work on it since we were here a few years ago, and leveled out the joints that were a real nuisance to ride over. That’s Susan way in the distance and only a couple other riders were here on this day. It is at first a strange feeling to be riding with fast traffic coming at you!

I am enjoying this month’s challenges a lot (as usual actually) and really have taken great interest in the IMPERFECTS. I am noticing things I had paid no attention to until now. I think, for myself, I may continue with this one after the challenge has ended. May post some here too ;’-).

Time to pack up now for the next leg of our adventure.

Normally I look for challenge entries when on my solo ride as that gives me a nice focus for a ride. With Susan being my only bike buddy when we are away, she is used to my photo stops so abides my challenges as well. In fact she will often point out one for me. ;’-).
