Putting the B in Feb uary

It wasn’t all that cold so I decided a short ride was in order. Well, it’s B for Brevity. I rode to the post office and the wind was so strong that I decided to go right back home. Don’t want any Broken Bones. On my way I spotted some Blooming Branches of witch hazel, an early Bloomer to Brighten up the day.

I found the witch hazel in front of the Frauenkirche/Church of Our Lady on my way up the hill to the post office.

I'm a US born ex-pat, having lived most of my adult life in Munich, Germany. Cycling and photography are my favorite things.

Delightful. I know all about shortening rides! At times it is unbelievable that I even got on the saddle! Love the witch hazel coming into Bloom on the Branch. That church is very interesting with its tall side.

Witch hazel! Wow, I never knew that was a plant. My elderly grandmother, may she rest in peace, had a jug of liquid witch hazel she utilized for just about any malady you could think of. One time she insisted on treating my case of poison ivy with it. Yikes! Thanks for the photo.
