Questing Continues

Today’s plan was to visit Otmoor, located to the north of Oxford, this is typical of the region flat agricultural land often prone to flooding.
This is St Andrews Oddington. never been here before.
Thatched pubs are not that common a sight this one is in Murcott.
The River Ray bursts it’s banks quite frequently every autumn/winter flooding the surrounding flat landscape.
Favourite photo of the day, the straight road into Ambrosden.
Taken from Beckley above the flood waters of the bird reserve out on Otmoor.
Had a great day out managed to add another 16 villages to my County Quest and rode my age for the third time this month.

I’ll be darned. Your post looks just like my post from today, except that St. Andrew’s of Oddington might be a little older than St. Mark’s of MY Town. And the thatched roof on the pub looks a little more real than my thatched roof. But, other than that, they look the same. Ha!

Rode your age 3 times this month??? Braggart! I’m happy to be doing one per year.

16 villages and a ride your age achievement – well done!!!
If I were the River Ray and confined to that channel, I would feel compelled to overflow those banks and flood everything on occasion, too.
