Quick Morning Spin

Having to run an errand into the neighbouring village of Steventon, I took the opportunity of taking a few quick photo’s.

Steventon Parish church, I think it has a lead roof.

Not really sure I would want these in my front garden, fibre glass I think. This house is opposite the church.

This is again in the older section of the village, not sure how many houses there are in the shot.

I’ve been past this waterfall numerous times, today I decided to see if the stream has a name. Further upstream it is called the Ginge Brook, further downstream it is referred to as the Mill Brook, as it flows towards Sutton Courtenay, though nothing on my maps for this area.

The waterfall has a drop of around 10 feet and its surprisingly noisy this close up.

It may have only been a 6 mile spin, but no less enjoyable for that.

Nice ride! Interesting buildings — not to mention elephant and rhino!
That is one very picturesque waterfall.

Thanks Rich, the elephant is hiding a gorilla on its far side, I didn’t want to spend too much time outside of the house.
Not sure I could capture all three, don’t think I could get far enough away.

I am hopeful that my 2 errands today will serve to get me out on my bike as I struggle to get the motivation. That waterfall is really nice, and not the rhino & elephant in a front yard.

Nancy, the hardest bit is getting outside the door, once there you’re away.
I can’t imagine how much these figures would cost or where you get them from, there is a gorilla hiding behind the elephant.
Perhaps the owners are South African and are feeling homesick.
