QUITE A QUANTITY OF Q’S: Testing the Limits of Quedibility

I thought the Queen of Dairy’s home (The Dairy Queen store) was going to be a slam dunk for today’s Q quest, but for some reason the Dairy Queen Corporation decided to eliminate the words “dairy” and “queen” on their locations in favor of “DQ.” I rode around the entire place looking for one single remnant of the word “queen” and it wasn’t there. How the heck is a guy supposed to get a picture of the most obvious Q word in town when corporate America is working against him?

Everybody knows the Q stands for Queen, so I’m posting this picture no matter how questionable it may be.

Trust me, you’re likely to question the quedibility of several more pictures in this post. Buckle your seatbelts and come along for the ride. It starts with a bunch of cars lined up for a car wash at the M&H gas station.

QUARTS (Four of them in each of those gallon jugs.)

QUOTATION (Quotation marks indicate a questionable quotation.)

QUEENS (As in queen-size beds. I guess I didn’t need DQ to get the word “queen” in here somewhere.)

QUIRKY (If a Christmas horse isn’t quirky, I don’t know what is.)

QUIZZICAL pose (“You don’t like my Q words? Whaddya gonna do about it? I’m the Czar!”

Hi. My name is Greg and I ride my bike a lot. That is to say, I ride my bike almost every day. I go on long rides and short rides. Sunny rides, cloudy rides, and rainy rides. I like commuting, errand-running, day-tripping, overnighting, and touring on my bike. I ride on city streets, highways, gravel, single track, and snow with equal enthusiasm. Sometimes I ride fast and sometimes I ride slow. I try to keep my feet on the pedals at stop lights and I do not dismount when I hop up on a curb. I have a roadie bike, a mountain bike and a touring bike. I try to accept any challenge a bike ride can throw at me without complaint. But I don't like bugs.

I was planning on getting my DQ but it was not on today’s route.

    Great Qs there oh Czar.

    Lots of qwhimsical Q’s there!

Our DQ is so old it is ‘Grandfathered’ in its original building.

Curiosity found that DQ started in Joliet, IL, and International DQ is headquartered in Minneapolis.

What’s the proof for identifying the star Q czar? Just read this post! QED! For those that have forgotten their math courses, QED = quod erat demonstrandum, the Latin for ‘which was to be demonstrated”. Or, as we always preferred, Quite Easily Done.
