I am so happy that I pushed myself out into the 36 degree day ;’). After swapping my fingerless gloves for warm mittens, donning my multiple top and bottom layers and adding my helmet liner I was ready for the transition from that California weather ;’).

It was cold enough that I was not too much into stopping a lot, so when I found my first ”twofer” I decided that would be my goal for the day. Consequently I passed up some single Bs and Rs for next time maybe.

I did enjoy my ride today. I thought I had become spoiled by the California weather, but once out on my bike I was reminded of how beautiful it is to ride here. Beautiful blue sky, brisk but not too cold weather that is so refreshing (dressed properly), low/considerate traffic at least where I ride, and many choices for me to wander. Weather will change starting tomorrow but today loaded me up with joy
