R & DOUBLE B
It was a short ride in the COLD yesterday. Total cloud cover and 37 degrees was much colder than sunny 40 degrees of the day before. Though I am surely glad that I did ride, it was not near as much fun for me as the sunny ride was. Got some for our challenge at least.

Good eye for finding B’s and R’s!
Your California trip was a great one!
Interesting reading and great photos.
42 Miles !! 4 . 2 is closer to what I do — maybe a little more 🙂
Thanks Rich and for reading my blog ;’-). 42 is not my usual distance, but other than the traffic road with no shoulder and the headwind, it was very do-able.
Lot’s of interesting stuff in your blog, including literature. Not only did you see the big Steinbeck book, but you also went through Laura Ingalls Wilder’s Walnut Grove. (Okay, maybe that was a different Walnut Grove.) Harmony looks like a great town. There’s a town called Harmony in Minnesota that’s pretty cool too. That Harmony is in the middle of a large Amish region.
I sure did think of Laura Ingalls Wilder when I rode through the little town of Walnut Grove. It was definitely small enough to meet that profile. Thanks so much for looking into my blog post. I enjoyed Harmony a lot because I love coming across these little known towns. Without our friends taking us there I never would have known to stop and look around there — a get a pair of earrings from the glass store ?.
Good finds again, Nancy! I,too, enjoyed your blog. thanks for putting in a reminder of the update!
Thanks Suzanne. Glad you enjoy the blog as there are times I think of giving it up. But there are enough of my friends who continue to encourage to keep going ;’).
