Wow! Very impressive! Now I need to figure out how to convince Sonoma Raceway to allow me to pedal a few laps around the track when NASCAR isn’t in town. 😉
Thanks, Rich for that interesting link. After reading Jeff’s account, I’m absolutely positive I only want to pedal a couple of laps, then hang out, eat a sandwich, and sip a cold one. 😉
The Sepang track looks flat on television. Not so in reality. There are a couple of slopes, including an 8 percenter. Not long, but a bit of a surprise nonetheless.
We’ve been wanting to give it a try! This sounds fun!!
“The ride is highlighted by the legendary Corkscrew that drops an equivalent of 5 1/2 stories. Rides run from 5:30-7:30 p.m. and are open to all levels of cyclists. ”

Thanks for posting, looks like a great event and everyone had a good time.
The route profile looks just a bit bumpier than eastern Illinois!
