I hate it when small neighborhood places close because ‘bigger and better’ come along to replace them. Makes me sad.
Good find in dinner fare!
First our neighborhood Casey’s — Then — I discover the cell phone is “Inactive” — because, 3G is being phased out in favor of 5G. And it not just 3G cell phones:

Dinner was foiled. By the time I got back the turkey vultures had had their meal , , , , I guess that’s why they are called “Turkey Vultures” 🙂
Rich, I always thought the motto of central Illnois was “Corn in every field and Casey’s on every corner.”
Once my Casey’s Tantrum subsides I may have to visit the new one. 🙂
The landfill has a very nice fence. And wow, that is very tiny corn for the end of May.
