Walks and Rides: January 2021

My Cycle Days Challenge has now morphed into Walks and Rides.

I decided to reset my cycle challenge goal and put walking on par with riding my bike. Certainly a win for my health if not an immediate win on the pleasure account.

HERE is the post on my website and as usual there are pictures.

P.S. I am now getting notifications of follow-up comments! Did the admins do something brilliant to make that possible? If so – thank you!

I'm a US born ex-pat, having lived most of my adult life in Munich, Germany. Cycling and photography are my favorite things.

Oh boy, this is the toughest “Greg’s Favorite Suzanne Photo of the Month” selection I’ve had to make. I really like the snow accumulation on the pink bike because that’s how my bike looks all the time this month. The Jesus on the mailbox is also worthy of the award because it leaves it up to the imagination as to whether he is suffering more from the crucifixion or from the cold and snow. In the end, however, I have to go with the picture of the people hiking off in the distance across a snowfield under cloudy skies. Congratulations!

You’re getting emails on comments to your posts now? Including this one for example? How strange. We haven’t changed anything.

What fantastically beautiful photos and what a fantastically beautiful area you are in. I would never try to choose a ‘best photo’ of those you post. That is simply too hard to do. I love them all and am so glad you are posting your walks as well as any rides you do.

You have really captured the season and it is nice to look at snow when it is inferno hot here. I’m glad the walking is getting easier and more enjoyable – positive trends are good! I love Janos peeking toward the camera in the corner of the last photo 🙂
