Rides: Le Tour on the Range Line Loop

An almost perfect morning for a longer ride

Dave, Dwight, and myself met up and headed west to Range Line Road

So called because it is the north south road between two townships

The photos pretty much depict the ride — lots of corn and soybean about ready to be harvested

Very much enjoy all the entries you all have provided -- great to see the everyday cycling venues. Being in eastern Illinois, scenery certainly isn't our forte, but oh well, the roads are normally quiet. Look forward to more and more entries from all of you, I do have a few over on BL -- in Bill's Day Rides, and one journal.

No time for bicycling! Climb into a combine or drive a grain truck or direct traffic at the elevator. Get those crops harvested!

Should one be cycling and encounter farm machinery on the road — yielding the right of way is strongly advised — as in (as you know) they take up the entire rural road.
