Beautiful; And nice that you missed any real heat for the day. I pedaled early this morning. In 65 then 72 degrees to miss the upcoming heat wave in the 90s.
Nice photos of the lake and ares.

It was a good ride in decent weather. My ace support crew says she had a good hike, but I’m not supposed to mention the part about getting her rear end covered with sticker burrs. I guess that’s what happens to females who worship in the Church of the Great Outdoors. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Burrs in the butt are a hazard. That’s true, but anything short of an alligator attack or venomous snake bit makes worshipping at the Church of the Great Outdoors is a wonderful thing.

Nice ride beautiful area. Lake Sonoma is looking pretty low ๐Ÿ™
Is it a municipal water supply as well as irrigation?

Just back from Kickapoo where I met a couple on e-bikes from around Oceanside, CA ๐Ÿ™‚

I’ve hiked around there enough to know better! But some people like it. The lake provides at least some of the drinking water for many of the municipalities in the county. It’s way lower than it should be, but apparently not at dire levels right now. Dry Creek is not (and never was) a major waterway, so I’m always surprised at how much water the lake holds.

The only thing about ticks I enjoy is squashing them.
