Rolls & Things and Things That Roll

A soccer ball rolls, but you can barely see the soccer ball in the featured photo. That’s why I zoomed in for a closer look. Unfortunately, the closer look doesn’t include my bike. For a Cycle365 Challenge participant like me, it was at least a Catch-22–if not a major moral dilemma. What does a guy do when he has a picture of a bike with no ball, and a picture of a ball with no bike? He posts them both of course, with the hope that Helenfromhell Wait will give her stamp of approval.

As soon as one of those girls kicks it, that soccer ball is going to roll.

This little doggie ball is about to roll too, because I’m going to kick it.

It seems like you can meet ANY challenge in a Garceau. Here, my bike unROLLS a couple feet from a toilet paper ROLL.

It seems like the Holy ROLLers set up their displays at every downtown event.

When I took this picture of a stroller, it came to me that the word “ROLLER” is contained within the word “stroller.” Freaky!

This establishment makes a wide variety of ROLLS. Doughnuts too, and doughnuts will ROLL when set on edge and given a gentle push.

I know Rich already used the “train rollin’ down the tracks,” but here’s my version.

And here’s my version of “barge ROLLIN’ down the river.”

I’m a pretty easy-going guy, but I do have a few pet-peaves. I look forward to showing some of them in part three of the September Challenges.

Hi. My name is Greg and I ride my bike a lot. That is to say, I ride my bike almost every day. I go on long rides and short rides. Sunny rides, cloudy rides, and rainy rides. I like commuting, errand-running, day-tripping, overnighting, and touring on my bike. I ride on city streets, highways, gravel, single track, and snow with equal enthusiasm. Sometimes I ride fast and sometimes I ride slow. I try to keep my feet on the pedals at stop lights and I do not dismount when I hop up on a curb. I have a roadie bike, a mountain bike and a touring bike. I try to accept any challenge a bike ride can throw at me without complaint. But I don't like bugs.

I C D Bawh in the featured image! Its way over there ——-> partially obscured by the wire in the fence.
Great photos of rolling strollers and all else — doesn’t matter if someone else already posted a rolling anything, — if you see it it counts just as much.
I see the Surley is taking up unrolling TP as a cat might 😉 Or, at least I hope that’s what’s going on. 😉

I can see now that the moral dilemma of posting a picture without my bike pales in comparison to being viewed as a creepy guy at a girl’s soccer game. Highway 61 is the busy road that ran behind me as I took those pictures. I hope nobody recognized me.

Recall the rules state that you should include your bike in the photo when is it possible — you are well within the rules on this one. Great photos and creative ideas about “rolling” things ;’-). Especially the cat toilet paper unrolling ??.
