Rachael has been getting out with impressive regularity, but I’ve hardly been on the bike since we returned from Hawaii two weeks ago. For the first week I was nursing my health, avoiding going out until I got over a cold. The weather in the past week has been brilliant, but I still haven’t gotten out because I’m so caught up with our move preparations. On most days I get an early start, spend about half the day packing things up or taking donations to goodwill; and by mid afternoon I’m tired enough that hopping on the bike just hasn’t felt that appealing. I’ll get back in the rhythm soon enough, once we’ve moved out and the pace slows down.
Today was different though. We rented space in an Air B&B for a month, so we can move out of our unit and tun it over to the contractors who will ready it for sale. It’s really too fine out to sit indoors anyway, and I’m burning to check out our new neighborhood, so I hitch up Rodriguez for a scouting mission.
