(SEPTEMBER’S) POTENTIALLY USEFUL GRAVITATIONAL EJECTI (OR ‘PUGE’?)

How’s that for a title! As a follow along to Rick’s earlier post, I thought it might be fun to keep an eye out for some PUGE this month. And here is what I was able to find, or ‘collect’ if you will.

A perfectly fine decorator pillow

A Table Game that needs a little fix
Baby is missing this one
FORE again
A money belt is not good if you can so easily lose it
Little football for little hands
In normal days I would pick this up, put it into a plastic bag and launder once I got home. not these days.
Head band that apparently did not work
First Aid
Needs a coloring book
For your hot dog, should you have one.

And for the grand finale of September’s PUGE: The only things I picked up.

I had been thinking that people were not ejecting any money like they usually have. I had found only on quarter and one penny up to this last day of riding — just three days ago — when what should appear before my wandering eye!! The coins came at the start of the ride, the paper was at our halfway mark and in the grass alongside the road. I have found $10 only on other time, and that was several years ago.

I had fun doing this, and think I will try it again for an OCTOBER PUGE ;’-)

Must be clean streets/roadsides in Louisville too ;’-). I don’t find much, often nothing, in my immediate neighborhood. Must go further afield for the finds.

    Cleaner roadsides in Germany!

Wow you guys have some nice upscale ejecti there!
When I was a kid (assuming I ever grew up) running over ketchup pouches with my bicycle made a satisfying splat on the street.
That 10 spot is a keeper for sure!!

Somehow I can picture you riding your bike over ketchup pouches Rich!
Yep, that tanner was a joyful keeper ;’-).

More drinking containers and fast food packaging here unfortunately although today the state government brought in 10 cent refunds for cans and plastic bottles, hopefully the roadsides should get cleaner.

We have way too much of that stuff too. We have not had a “bottle bill” in our state though neighboring states do. I think that would help.

That is a lot of interesting finds! Poor elephant 🙁

Like Western Australia, the only thing I ever really see here is discarded drink containers (we get a container deposit scheme in VIC in 2023). The number of takeaway coffee cup litter has increased in my time in Oz though.

Well done on the ten dollar note – I found $5 a few years ago but don’t generally see much money around either – maybe because I mostly ride rural roads?
