Stuck on a theme

I’m a reasonably creative sort. I’m sure if I put my half-wit to it I could find all manner of unique arches, never before contemplated as such, to present to you. But, I’m also a decidedly lazy sort; and Croatia has enough interesting churches that just keep coming along demanding to be photographed that it’s easier to just go with the flow for awhile.
Today’s is a lovely little chapel in the middle of nowhere in the mountains, dedicated to Mary Magdalene. We passed it on our ride to Krapinske Toplice. I especially like its short wooden steeple and the fresco above the door. If I hadn’t stopped for a photo by the arch, I wouldn’t have walked around the corner to see the fresco.

I especially like the fresco over the door!
Something about an arch just makes a place look inviting.
Beautiful frescos — glad you stopped.
Is that a BF in the picture? I love mine for traveling, but it is now my only ride when not. I’m sure you will nevet be at a loss for arches over there. Beautiful little chapel.
Yup. We ride the Fridays (New World Tourists) on any tour we have to fly to, and trade off to our home bikes when we return. We’re on our second generation BF’s now, that we got after selling our home. We got our first ones in 2009 after the airlines charged us $300 each to fly home from Greece.
