The Canby Ferry

The Canby Ferry is the northernmost of the three ferries that cross the Willamette.  It’s not that far south of Portland, but just far enough that from our home it was a bit out of range for our normal day rides.  I’ve only ridden it a handful of times, and I think only once with Rachael.

From our temporary home in Sellwood though, it’s only a forty five mile loop – right in the sweet spot for a normal ride for us oldsters.  And the conditions are perfect today – we need to get some climbing in, and the weather couldn’t be better.

    Great ride, Scott!
You must be well organized to be able to take full-day rides just four days prior to your big trip! Don’t forget your wallet!
Hope you have a great time over here in the old country. Look forward to your posts, whenever you get to posting!

Not nearly as well organized as we should be. I think today is the first time that I felt we were ready to go, and we fly out in about 40 hours. I can’t wait to see what critical item I’ve forgotten this time.

It’s the 25th here so I guess you are about to leave – or just going to Greece.

Congrats with getting all those errands out the way and clearing the decks for the rides to come.

I wish you both well – bon voyage
