The Collection Challenge: a rack of boots

We’re seeing some creative, imaginative collections here. Keep up the good work! My sole offering today is less dramatic and dynamic than those elephant seals, but still unusual enough to be worth posting: a row of fence posts with cowboy boots capping them, on our ride through Edna Valley. There were probably 20 or more boots in the collection. I took a video hoping to pick up some interesting sounds, but nothing doing – their tongues weren’t wagging today.

Those boots aren’t made for walkin’ now! Unique collection.
Californians beat Texans in regard to what they place on fenceposts. Once while driving some backroads between Wichita Falls and Sweetwater, I was grossed out by about a consecutive mile of fenceposts “adorned” with coyote carcasses.
Those boots all look a bit limp and tired. Perhaps a bit more unique in protecting the post from rot than a steel cap though!
On several bike tours, and sometimes just a ride, I have seen boots on posts as well. Must be some “out west” thing.
I have to say — not all my collections will be unusual I am sure.
