Tour de Weeds

Windy today, but otherwise lovely weather, so the Ogre and I drove down to Tolay Regional Park. The place was a giant weed patch, but I always enjoy pedaling on the old ranch roads, exploring little nooks and crannies, and fiddling with the camera.
And I think at least one photo to meet requirements of Challenge of the Month.

Nice collection of weeds, especially the one with yellow flowers. You new jersey makes great camouflage. Wow, I just learned how to spell camouflage . . . . . I digress . . . .
Weeds are fascinating, I’d like to be able to identify more of the ones I see along the roadsides.
I’m pretty certain one of the cows is holding up an “Eat more Chicken” sign.
CEO refuses to go to Arby’s in Danville because someone told her they have bugs . . . . .
Now, Steak and Shake across the street is different, cause they do NOT have bugs . . . . go figure.
Arby’s We’ve got the BUGS!!!
Yeah, I know 🙂
Given choice between Arby’s or Steak and Shake, I’ll go with the latter every time. Never miss it when I’m back in Bloomington-Normal. Back in the olden days in B-N when I was single, I think I lived off Steak and Shake, Avantis, and Garcia’s Pizza. Good bicycling fuel!
Yep, been to the one in Normal — the original S/S many times when visiting aunt and uncle in Hudson.
I agree, S/S is the best — I assume you are acquainted with Kappa as well? 😉
Steak fry night in Kappa, right?
I like that yellow shirt … and the low-point-of-view weed pictures, too!
I’m embracing the thin fabric, long sleeves, quick-drying, high sun protection hoodie look. Otherwise my dermatologist threatens to skin me alive, or something like that.
I am glad you pointed yourself out in those weeds. I almost didn’t see you.
But what about all those photos where I DIDN’T alert you that I was camouflaged and nearly invisible? 😉
