Transitioning the Challenge Host

Since being appointed your new Challenge Host the thing has been to come up with topics of wide ranging interest, and for the most part doable for all of us.

A list has been/is being compiled and input is certainly welcome!

Continuing the previous concept, as many as 2 or 3 changes of topics per month will occur in order to keep interest renewed as the month progresses.

All topics for the month can and will run concurrently. While the challenge may be in phase 2 or 3 for that month, items from phase 1 are still totally acceptable, since we never know what we will see or when we will see it.

Overlaps between months are totally acceptable as well.

The goal is bicycling and having fun and somewhat incidentally finding the challenge items – in other words, enjoy the ride and if you happen to come across some items, so much the better

As in previous challenges, include the item or concept in a photo along with your bicycle when practical.

There surely will be some items that are repeated from previous challenges (we have covered a LOT of stuff!)

Some input from the feminine side would be greatly appreciated since most items so far are of the ‘hard wired’ variety

I know you are up to the challenge, I hope I am!!

Many thanks to Bill, Scott, and Greg for their time and effort, and expertise  — those are some big shoes to step into!

Oh, before I forget (which I just did) as Bill stated in the original challenge post, any and all are more than welcome to initiate your own challenge in any way at any time.

Very much enjoy all the entries you all have provided -- great to see the everyday cycling venues. Being in eastern Illinois, scenery certainly isn't our forte, but oh well, the roads are normally quiet. Look forward to more and more entries from all of you, I do have a few over on BL -- in Bill's Day Rides, and one journal.

Rich, this should be a breeze. Alternate corn one month and beans the next. 😉

Maybe a little ethanol in the form of Fire Ball once in a while? 🙂
