WALKING ON THIN ICE

There continues to be underlying ice, and in some cases black ice, that keep me off my bike. Sigh again.

Today’s photos are rather bland and mundane, but I needed something to pay attention for.

THree… TH words are difficult to find as we have no thoroughbreds around here

CHimney…

A ‘ringer’ in Black and WHite, with an ‘S’…

Thus ends my bland contribution for today. No riding.

No riding here either, roads are clear, and just a dusting of snow, but the winds are gusting to 35mph at 20F with a wind chill of 7F.
We appreciate that Minnesota air in summer, not so much now, At least it has warmed up some as it arrives here. 🙂

The way the chimney is finished is interesting, both the brick work and the new cap.

No riding here now, either. From 57F yesterday to 32F today and the week to come. Too cold for me.

At least I am in good company with you both unable to ride as well. Better days are coming I’m sure 🤨

Had a beautiful ride this morning along the river to the city, no clouds, nice and early to beat the 40celsius day but my boasting ends now because I’ll be at work for the next 9.5 hours. Blah.

The riding days will be back soon, I promise. In the meantime, keep those walking photos coming.

Thanks Greg — I will do more walking as I remain either grounded by weather or wheel-less by bike being totally overhauled. It will be good for me to do more walking, and I will continue to look for challenge items as I stroll 😏.
