Weather Report: November 28 – 30

The last report of the month: It hasn’t been that cold but it has been snowing on and off for the past three days and I haven’t been on my bike. The weather on Sunday was good enough for a walk but that was about all.

I put on my walking shoes and visited the trails that I was walking last winter. The ground isn’t frozen and the paths are muddy. Somehow walking is a bit dull. I so much prefer riding my bike.
A view of Gauting from the little hill I walk. Granted, snow is pretty.

On Monday again I didn’t ride. My exercise consisted of a walk to the pharmacy to get a rapid antigen test which together with being fully vaccinated allows me to participate in the Tuesday tai chi class. It was a windy and wet day, and although I could have walked some more, I didn’t.

Today, the last day of the month, I again left the bicycle in the garage. I would have loved to ride once more but it was snowing and too windy for my 40 minute ride to my tai chi class. Janos drove me. My last pictures will have to be garage pictures, I’m afraid.

The roads were dry enough, the wind was the deterrent.
See the wind blowing the snow flakes.

I’m hoping for some cycling weather for next month’s challenge! A B C D E, I hope I am feeling more cheer-ee.

Wind is undoubtably the worst for cycling. Cold can be dealt with for a while anyway, but cold plus wind is a deal breaker.
Snow is really something for those who have little or no experience with it, for the rest of us, well . . . . .
Enjoyed the photos, looking forward to the new challenge.

“…somehow walking is a bit dull…”. Yep, that’s my feeling! Snow is indeed pretty — at least new snow, but would rather have cycling weather 😏. Great photos of course Suzanne ;’-).
