Weather report

Sunday was 102. Monday was 112. Tuesday was 115 (the all-time high for any date since they began keeping records in Santa Rosa. Wednesday was 102. Thursday was 108. It’s a good thing there’s no such thing as climate change, or it would have been really warm.

Yes, thank goodness there is not Climate Change!
Our family in Sacramento are sweltering as well.
Inland areas like Sacramento have it way worse than we do. You’ve probably done the I-5 drive enough to know the stretch between Redding and Sacto will bake you like an oven.
Climate Change? Der ain’t no stinkin climate change … wat da hell de talkin bout?
Yeah! If there was climate change, I’d notice it getting hot around here. Oh, wait a minute….
In all seriousness — if something doesn’t resolve the drought in the SW US soon (including obviously California) you guys are [in very very serious trouble]
The only reason I said very very serious is because Im back on the good behavior wagon — but you know what I meant.
Mega-drought here, leading to wildfires and many other problems, not the least of which is shortage of drinking water. I’ve lived here long enough (almost 40 years) to recognize the weather patterns really have changed. Temporary change? Permanent change? Human caused? Natural fluctuations? Whatever the answer to those questions, there can be no doubt we are experiencing more weather extremes nowadays than we were 30 or 40 years ago. I fear for our grandchildren’s future.
