I extended an errand ride to include my Shawna Route. Passing by this telephone pole always brings me a smile. Our temps remaining in the 40s does not feel like spring to me! But these daffodils remind me that Sping is springing ;’-).Doing a dedicated errand by bike on this day, I thought I would most likely not take a photo for the day. But here is one of giant Christmas balls wrapped around a tree in front of the barbershop.Riding through the local airport and some of Boeing Plant I pass Boeing Lake. It has different appearances in different seasons of the year. I will be showing other seasons.Cindy and I finally got in a ride and took advantage to ride through some farm and horse ranch country ;’-).
With all my complaining of weather and stuff, it’s been a fairly good bike riding month (so far).
30 -40 mph winds here today, so only very little riding when they calmed to 20 or so. 🙂
Is that Kermit atop the pole? “Let the sun shine in” No joke, here too!
Nic’s barbershop sign is discouraging — how much longer can they hang on with no business? Hope they are getting some sort of economic relief.
We had really high wind for most of our day here too — 53 at the airport nearby (where I often ride. AND we had snow today!!!! You can guess correctly that I did not ride today. ?.
Nic’s barbershop is now open and has been for a couple of months with restricted number of customers.
And I think you may be right about Kermit being on the pole there. ?.
I don’t know how you find the time to ride all that you do, but glad you do and that I can see your pictures and read your tales. I’m always impressed! Loved your pictures. With that colorful bike, you always have colorful pictures.
My main priority is riding my bike ?. Domestic life has never been my calling ?, so I am good with leaving all that to be done “later”. That means that things pile up and our house is not the cleanest in the neighborhood, but we do the basics until we can once again employ a housekeeper ;’-). No kids, no pets, no close by Grands, leaves me the time for riding ;’-).
Thank you for all the kind words Laura. This month is ending with ——- snow!!! It didn’t stay around but we have had hail and snow for a bit on the past couple of days. Will ride today finally.
You do find the best things to take pictures of, Nancy!
Why thank you Suzanne. Sometimes I think my photos are so pedestrian and mundane! But looking at them brings me right to that day and ride.

The weather’s looking pretty decent up your way! Must be about time we headed home again.
C’mon home. But as is usual, weather is hit or miss depending on the day ;’-). Today however we are hitting 60 or something.
I think every telephone pole should be turned into an ersatz totem pole like the one in your first picture.
I would vote for that Greg ;’-).
