WEEK 5 MARCH RIDE PHOTOS

The last week of March was short. I got in two rides before the month changed hands to April.

I joined my first “group” ride since a year ago! I always love passing by this “arrow” fence.
Cindy and I had our annual ride to see the cherry blossoms at University of Washington. A little past their peak, but stunning to see them all none the less.

Happy Spring everyone, and Happy April ;’-). Hard to fathom that we have made it through a full year of struggle with the pandemic, lockdowns, masks, and distancing from loved ones. And now we continue to follow some protocol to avoid going backwards ?. Let’s stick with it and get through with this! Stay well.

Great cherry blossom shot in the last picture and great sentiment in the last paragraph.

It is sometimes hard to believe we’ve been living with this for an entire year. Marilyn and I get our first shots next week, so hopefully that brings us one step closer to returning to normal.

I am glad you and Marilyn can get your vax shot soon. We have now had both shots and it does open up our little world a bit even with maintaining some of the necessary guidelines of masks and distance when indoors.

Beautiful blossoms, the ‘other’ Washington has nothing on you!
We too are all vaccinated, which is a good thing since IL seems to be going the wrong way infection wise.
Glad you are able to get back out and do some group rides.

I do have to say — and I know this is true for many states —- Washington has taken a dip as well. We were doing so well too. ?. Everyone seems to have let down their guard a bit prematurely.
It is so nice to be able to safely join a few other friends for small group riding. Among other things (like the socializing) it gets me out of my rut of those loops I keep doing from home ?. But I really am taking small steps of re-entering the world as we have known it!
