    Beautiful tree and great photo!
Leaves are mostly all down here — the other day a strong south wind was blowing and my neighbor to the south was raking leaves, throwing them into the air and they blew over here. 🙁
A couple days later, the wind turned and I got my leaf blower out,and blew them all back.
    Hee Hee
Not looking forward to winter, but I did take a page from your book and ordered a trainer. 🙂

I know what you mean. That lovely tree with a million big red and orange leaves is about to drop them all. The tree is in our next door neighbor’s yard, but we always get at least half the leaves.

Winter definitely setting in here too. Maybe 3-6 inches of snow to fall near home today. Turning to rain tomorrow. Makes for no biking days for a while. But I know better to think of getting a trainer that will end up settling lonely by the side of the room with little to no use!

Unlike mighty snow-immune North Man Greg, 3-6 inches of snow seems like great incentive for an indoor trainer! When I was young and single and lived in central Illinois, I kept my trainer set up with spare bike in my living room, and I pedaled practically every day during inclement weather (which, as I seem to recall, occurred about 300 days each year). Nowadays I am forbidden from leaving trainer and bike set up in any room in the house. If I want to use it, I need to drag everything out of the garage and set it up when my ace support crew is not around, then put it away before she returns. Ah, the sacrifices I make….

        Re Illinois weather:
“during inclement weather (which, as I seem to recall, occurred about 300 days each year”

THAT is no exaggeration — in fact I doubt we get 65 days of ideal weather –> comfortable temperatures, low humidity, and little wind.

60F today BUT that came with 45 mph winds.
