Winter Relents

We have had two mild days with temperatures around 10°C and I was on my bike for the first time in three weeks! Janos and I rode our winter loops, only paved surfaces since the paths in the woods are still snowy, icy or muddy. But happy to be on our bikes. Not too much to say about the rides so just pictures.

Looks like some very nice weather. Around here we would call that the “January Thaw”.

As your winter relents, our winter oppresses.

The birds flying over the cross of the church seem ominous. Was that great picture planned, or just pure luck?

Ahhhhh, time on your bike in such beautiful sun and blue sky. Life is good.

Yes, it looks almost spring-like. What a tease! I’m glad you were able to get out and enjoy it.

Beautiful small church. The little villages always looked so cozy. Glad you managed a ride. I’ve walked the last two c-o-l-d days, but only around a half mile each time. Took Skunker Doodle with me yesterday and he didn’t seem to mind the cold at all. Of course, he wears a fur coat.

Pylongons! Very nice. I almost posted a pylon shot myself but I couldn’t decide how many sides were involved.
